PRIVATE TALKS and WALKING TOURS on BOSTON HISTORY

Susan Wilson is available to give PowerPoint lectures and walking tours on a variety of topics in Boston history. Her subjects vary from year to year and range from the historic Parker House, 19th century surgeon Susan Dimock, the Golden Age of American Literature and Forest Hills Cemetery to Enterprising Women of Victorian Boston, memorial statues in Boston’s downtown parks, and Charles Dickens’ influence on the city’s celebration of Christmas.

Talks and tours are offered both to individuals and to organizations of any size. Times, dates, and fees are negotiable and will vary with the date and nature of the presentation, group size, and travel considerations.

“Well Ms. Susan, you’ve done it again! My email is flooded with accolades for you since your talk yesterday here at North Hill. Residents and prospects all can’t say enough about how engaging, smart, well-researched, charming and captivating you are! And I agree 100%.”
                                         —Linda McConchie

“I want you to know that EVERYONE thoroughly enjoyed your presentation, and it was an honor having you join us! You are truly a gifted storyteller and I very much appreciate your talent and the time you spent with us! The passion you have is infectious and you made our time in Boston and at the Parker House feel special and connected to its’ unique and amazing history!!” ”
